In the game of baseball, speed training, core development and velocity training can be the difference between success and failure, both often measured in fractions of seconds.
How many more runs could your team score if athletes had the speed to beat out close plays?
How many runs could your team prevent if infielders had the quickness to stop ground balls before they became base hits?
What if outfielders had the foot speed to track down fly balls before they turned into
extra-base hits?
Reaction time, change-of-direction speed, first-step quickness and acceleration are skills required for success by any baseball player or team. Fortunately, these are skills that can be taught and developed in any athlete. One-hour ABAT program classes run for two-to-four nights a week over two-week, four-week or six-week periods. We focus on three primary areas:
Acceleration S.A.Q. (speed, agility and quickness) — Focused on the fast-twitch muscles to build strength, speed and explosiveness.

Core Muscle — Focused on building the core muscles linking the upper and lower body, allowing the body to stay in synch and maximize power.

Velocity — Focused on arm strength, throwing velocity and pre-hab arm maintenance philosophies. Drills are broken down into segments targeting each muscle group for specific results. Additional activities are introduced as athletes progress.
